一、美国大学金融学MSF简介
金融硕士(Master of Science in
Finance)，简称MSF，主要为培养金融专业的人才而设立。教学方向包括金融分析，投资管理和公司财务等。课程包括金融，经济，金融风险管理。商科背景或者数理背景的本科生都可以申请，转专业申请也是可行的。具有较高的数学和计算机能力的同学在申请上会有优势。
美国前100的大学中，有53所大学开设金融专业硕士。诸如南加州大学、圣母大学、匹兹堡大学、迈阿密大学都是近年来才开设金融硕士项目的。
前30的学校，金融学分布较少，只有6所大学，如普林斯顿大学，麻省理工，圣路斯大学华盛顿分校，约翰霍普金斯大学，范德堡大学，圣母大学。
其中圣母大学基本不招应届生，比较倾向有两年以上工作经验的学生。普林斯顿和麻省理工，从这几年录取经验来说，除非是海外本科或者清北复交的学生，其他学校的学生申请到录取还是相对比较有难度的。
金融学和金融分析专业主要集中在前30-60的学校，如波士顿学院，罗切斯特大学，凯斯西储大学，伊利诺伊香槟分校，宾州州立帕克分校，马里兰大学，俄亥俄州立大学等。
二、金融学MSF就业前景
MSF毕业生的可以在很多金融相关的领域施展拳脚，近几年金融行业的火爆程度，从业人员的平均薪酬很高，是很多人梦想的职业。当然，近几年金融学毕业生数量暴增，就业市场的竞争愈发激烈。加班，出差，压力大，也都是金融人的时常挂在嘴边的关键词。所以同学们在选择高回报的同时，也要做好高投入的心理准备。银行，风险投资，证券，私募，和企业的金融部门等领域都需要金融人才。
三、美国大学MSF研究生学位设置
MSF专业的课程长度和入学时间：美国金融硕士多数秋季开学，也有少部分是春季，夏季入学的，像南加州大学、麻省理工学院是夏季开学，圣母大学是春季开学，波士顿学院是春，夏，秋季都有开学。每年6-8月份学校都会公布新的招生政策，具体可以在这段时间查看学校官网进一步确认。美国金融硕士课程长度正常都是一年，或者少于1年，极个别的学校项目是两年。麻省理工学院2009年初设时是12个月，2015年增加多一个选项，可以到18个月，附带一个暑假实习;普林斯顿大学根据学生的学习情况来判断是1年还是2年。通常来说，课程长度较短的课程压力都比较大，时间相当紧张。
四、美国大学MSF专业方向申请要求
硬性要求：
前60的学校：最好的国内有名的财经类院校，对于985或211反而不太看重，大学均分85%以上，托福103-105以上，如果申请商科金融方向，如金融管理或金融分析，GMAT要求在680以上，比较好录的是杜兰大学，佩伯戴因，福特汉姆大学等;
如果是混申，申金融数学或金融工程，要求GRE,分数要求325分以上，数学部分167或168以上，作文部分要求3.5-4分。如果学生有时间和精力，建议去参加GRE单项的数学考试，如芝加哥大学，如果学生有理想的单项考试成绩，会大大提高成功率和本校录取率，芝加哥大学在新
加坡有分校。
软性要求：
实习：一般银行的实习意义不大，最好是寒假到四大(年底任务重，实习岗位多)或一些大的证券及基金公司，最好能进公司的分析或投资部，而不是营业部或客户部门。
金融硕士学校录取偏好：
例如哥大，要求申请者本科期间要修满3个学期的微积分，线性代数，微分方程，偏微分方程，概率论，统计学，数学分析等，另外还需要学习至少一门语言编程课程，比较主流是C++，也就是说学生所在大学的课程设置，有时在申请上会起决定性作用。

5. 有开设金融专业，但是招生名额很少的学校
如范德堡大学(中国学生比例不超过8%)，密歇根安娜堡分校(85%是本校直升)，加州伯克利分校

哥大的商业分析和风险管理，录取概率大， 纽约大学工学院申请难度小，哥大开设金融专业最多最全的学校，总共有7个金融相关的专业。
6. OPT实习&H1B工作签
部分大学商科类的金融也属于STEM，毕业可获3年工签，一般商科只能12个月，例如华大圣路易斯，凯斯西储大学，罗切斯特大学，波士顿学院，UIUC等大学金融学都属于STEM范畴。

如今金融很难申请，因为纯MSF少，牛校就更难申请了。
虽然你背景不错，我个人认为还是应该选些保底校。。。。
没有多少所的，你看一下大致的综排和专业排名，然后看requirement，在每个阶梯的选2个左右，比如TOP80----TOP100 3所 TOP100----TOP150 3所 TOP150-----TOP200 2所
我认为你的背景可以多选100左右的作为垫底，冲刺top50
